Dr. Jonathan Bach, DVM, CVA

Dr. Jonathan Bach serves as the hospital director for Marlboro Village Veterinary Hospital. A graduate of Matawan Regional High School, he earned his medical degree from the College of Veterinary Medicine at Mississippi State University. After practicing medicine for 4 years in the Middletown and Manasquan areas, Dr. Bach assumed ownership of Marlboro Village Veterinary Hospital in 1996. He is a member of the Jersey Shore Veterinary Medical Association, the New Jersey Veterinary Medical Association, the American Veterinary Medical Association and the American Association of Traditional Chinese Veterinary Medicine.

Dr. Bach’s professional interests include geriatric medicine, endocrinology, preventative medicine, Chinese acupuncture and herbal medicine. After a day of delivering excellent patient care, he enjoys spending time with his wife and three children, Labrador retriever mix, Leroy and Brewster, a Shepard mix.

Dr. Jeanette Kopilak, DVM

At a very young age, Dr. Jeanette Kopliak enjoyed nature and had empathy towards all living things. Born in Matawan and raised in Marlboro, New Jersey, when the time came to pursue her career in Veterinary medicine she looked to her family veterinarian, Dr. Jonathan Bach. Joining the team at Marlboro Village Veterinary Hospital as a technician, she started on completing her undergraduate degree from Georgian Court University in Lakewood. Dr. Kopliak then went on to earn her medical degree from Ross University in September of 2016. She is a member of the Jersey Shore Veterinary Medical Association, New Jersey Veterinary Medical Association and American Veterinary Medical Association. Her professional interests include shelter medicine and the welfare and comfort of all animals with special attention to feline medicine.

At home, she enjoys spending time with her long – time partner George and their dogs, Poofie, Izzy, Emily and Mommy, along with her three cats Merlin, Marshall and Buddy. In her spare time, she loves to cook vegan meals and take long nature walks with her dogs.
